Modular Plate Carrier for 25 × 30 cm / 10″ × 12″ Ballistic Plates
TG-CPC ROC Gen5 is the fifth generation of the Templar’s Gear modular plate carrier, designed to carry 25 × 30 cm / 10″ × 12″ hard ballistic plates in dedicated front and rear plate bags.
GEN5 develops the previous platform with a number of solutions introduced in the latest generation of Templar’s Gear integrated carriers. These include a redesigned shoulder adjustment system, improved cable management, Hepalon anti-slip elements, an enlarged admin pocket, and an integrated MOLLE/Velcro front panel with a concealed ROC buckle mounting system.
CPC ROC Gen5 can be configured as either a lightweight minimalist plate carrier or a more comprehensive load-bearing platform.
CPC ROC Gen5 is a plate carrier. The carrier itself does not provide ballistic protection. The level of protection depends on the ballistic plates installed in the carrier.
25 × 30 cm Ballistic Plate Compatibility
The front and rear plate bags are designed to carry 25 × 30 cm / 10″ × 12″ hard ballistic plates.
The construction keeps the plates securely positioned inside the carrier and allows them to be correctly aligned relative to the wearer.
Integrated MOLLE / Velcro Front Panel
The front plate bag features an integrated laser-cut MOLLE panel with a Velcro surface.
This allows compatible equipment to be mounted directly to the carrier or enables the use of a replaceable Templar’s Gear front panel.
Located underneath the integrated front panel are ROC buckle adapters used to attach the cummerbund.
This design maintains a clean integrated front surface while retaining a modular cummerbund attachment system.
The adapters can be removed, allowing the carrier to be configured with a cummerbund that does not use ROC buckles.
Replaceable Front Panels and QUASM Buckles
The integrated MOLLE platform allows CPC ROC Gen5 to be used without an additional front panel.
For users who prefer a modular panel system, the carrier is compatible with Templar’s Gear replaceable front panels.
CPC ROC Gen5 is not supplied with QUASM buckles for attaching a replaceable front panel.
Every compatible Templar’s Gear front panel is supplied with a complete set of QUASM buckles, which can be installed directly on the carrier.
The required buckles are therefore supplied with the component that uses them and do not need to be purchased separately.
ROC Cummerbund System
The standard CPC ROC Gen5 configuration uses an adjustable cummerbund with ROC – Rapid Open Connector buckles.
The system allows the carrier to be opened and closed quickly without repeatedly separating Velcro surfaces.
The front ROC buckles are installed on modular adapters concealed underneath the integrated MOLLE/Velcro front panel.
The adapters can be removed, making it possible to replace the standard cummerbund with a version that does not use ROC buckles.
This gives the user greater flexibility when configuring the carrier for different operational requirements.
Redesigned Shoulder Adjustment
One of the major GEN5 changes is the redesigned shoulder adjustment system.
At the rear of the shoulder straps, CPC ROC Gen5 uses a ladder-style adjustment system derived from CIBV2, manufactured from glass-fibre-reinforced polymer.
The system provides more precise and stable shoulder adjustment and makes it easier to correctly position the front and rear plate bags on the wearer.
It also allows more accurate adjustment of ballistic plate height.
Shoulder Comfort Pads and Cable Management
CPC ROC Gen5 features redesigned shoulder Comfort Pads intended to improve pressure distribution when carrying ballistic plates and additional equipment.
Cable-management loops located on the Comfort Pads are made from Hepalon.
They can be used to organize communication cables, PTT wiring, and other equipment while maintaining a durable and low-profile construction.
Elastic Cable Loops on the Plate Bags
The front and rear plate bags feature additional elastic cable-management loops.
They can be used to route communication wiring, antenna cables, PTT cables, and other equipment.
When not in use, the elastic loops retract and lie flat against the surface of the plate bag, reducing unnecessary protruding components.
This keeps the carrier clean and streamlined when the cable-management system is not required.
Hepalon Anti-Slip Elements
As with CIBV3, CPC ROC Gen5 incorporates Hepalon inserts used as anti-slip surfaces.
These elements help reduce unwanted movement of selected components and improve stability during dynamic use.
Hepalon is also used for the cable-management loops integrated into the shoulder Comfort Pads.
Enlarged Admin Pocket
An enlarged internal admin pocket is integrated into the front of the carrier.
It provides storage for flat equipment, documents, notebooks, and other small accessories that need to remain easily accessible.
The pocket has been enlarged and redesigned for GEN5 to improve usability.
Laser-Cut MOLLE Platform
The front, rear, and side MOLLE surfaces provide mounting space for magazine pouches, utility pouches, and other mission-specific equipment.
The laser-cut construction reduces the amount of additional material required, lowers overall weight, and helps preserve camouflage pattern continuity.
ZIP-ON Rear Panel Compatibility
The rear plate bag supports dedicated ZIP-ON panels.
This allows additional rear-mounted equipment to be installed or removed quickly without having to weave individual pouches through the MOLLE interface each time.
Enlarged Rear Identification Area
The rear plate bag features an enlarged Velcro identification area for unit markings, identification patches, duty markings, and role-specific panels.
Reinforced Evacuation Handle
A reinforced evacuation handle is integrated into the rear of the carrier for emergency extraction or dragging of the wearer when required.
Materials and Construction
CPC ROC Gen5 is manufactured from Cordura 500D and a durable Cordura 500D-based laminate.
Both materials are IRR treated, helping reduce the visibility of the equipment when viewed through infrared observation devices.
Hepalon is additionally used for anti-slip elements and cable-management components on the shoulder Comfort Pads.
Body-facing areas use Coolmax lining to improve comfort during prolonged wear.
Modular Configuration
CPC ROC Gen5 can be configured as a lightweight plate carrier or expanded into a more comprehensive load-bearing platform.
The system supports:

Standard Configuration
