TG-CPC ROC Gen5 – Plate Carrier

Modular plate carrier for ballistic plates 25 × 30 cm

TG-CPC ROC Gen5 is the fifth generation of the modular plate carrier from Templar’s Gear, designed to carry hard ballistic plates 25 × 30 cm / 10″ × 12″ in the front and rear pockets.

GEN5 builds on the proven design of the previous generation, introducing a number of changes that improve ergonomics, adjustment range, equipment organization, and comfort during prolonged use.

The vest allows for direct mounting of equipment compatible with the MOLLE system on the front, rear, and side surfaces. The front plate bag features an integrated laser-cut MOLLE system and Velcro surface, allowing it to be used both independently and with an interchangeable front panel.

The rear plate bag is compatible with dedicated ZIP-ON panels, allowing for quick expansion of the configuration with additional equipment.

The CPC ROC Gen5 utilizes an adjustable cummerbund equipped with ROC – Rapid Open Connector buckles, allowing for quick opening and closing of the vest without the need to detach the Velcro system each time.

The CPC ROC Gen5 is a plate carrier. The vest itself does not provide ballistic protection. The level of protection depends on the ballistic plates used.

Ballistic plates 25 × 30 cm

The front and rear pockets are designed to carry hard ballistic plates 25 × 30 cm / 10″ × 12″.

The design of the plate bags stabilizes the plates and allows for their proper positioning relative to the user's body.

Depending on the type of plate used, the system can also be used with an appropriate soft backer if required by the ballistic configuration.

Integrated MOLLE / Velcro system

The front plate bag is fully compatible with the MOLLE system, allowing pouches and pockets to be mounted directly on the vest.

Additionally, the integrated Velcro surface allows for the use of modular front panels from Templar’s Gear.

This means that the user can choose between:

• direct mounting of MOLLE equipment,
• using an interchangeable front panel,
• a configuration combining both solutions.

The front panel is not required for using the vest.

Interchangeable front panels and QUASM buckles

The CPC ROC Gen5 is compatible with interchangeable front panels from Templar’s Gear, allowing for quick changes in equipment configuration.

The vest does not come with QUASM buckles for attaching the front panel.

Each compatible front panel from Templar’s Gear comes with a set of QUASM buckles that can be mounted directly on the vest.

This way, the buckles are provided together with the element that requires them, and there is no need to purchase them separately.

Compatibility with ZIP-ON panels

The rear plate bag allows for the mounting of dedicated ZIP-ON panels, enabling quick expansion of the vest with additional pockets or equipment.

This solution allows for changing the configuration of the rear part of the vest without the need to constantly weave equipment through the MOLLE system.

Cummerbund with ROC buckles

The CPC ROC Gen5 utilizes an adjustable cummerbund equipped with ROC – Rapid Open Connector buckles.

This system allows for quick putting on and taking off the vest without the need to detach the cummerbund from the front Velcro surface each time.

This helps maintain the previously set adjustment and facilitates the handling of the vest during daily use.

Redesigned shoulder adjustment

In GEN5, the design of the shoulder adjustment system has been changed.

The new solution offers a greater range of adjustment and facilitates the proper positioning of the front and rear plate bags relative to the user's silhouette.

This allows for more precise height adjustment of the plates and improves the overall ergonomics of the vest.

Next-generation Comfort Pads

The CPC ROC Gen5 is equipped with redesigned Comfort Pads for the shoulders, aimed at improving comfort during prolonged use.

They help distribute the pressure generated by the weight of the plates and carried equipment while maintaining a low profile in the shoulder area.

Concealed cable management system

GEN5 features redesigned elastic loops for cable management, allowing for organized routing of communication system cables, PTT, antennas, and other equipment elements.

The loops can be concealed when not in use, which helps reduce the number of protruding elements and maintain a clean configuration of the vest.

Enlarged administrative pocket

At the front of the vest, there is an enlarged internal administrative pocket.

It can be used to carry small, flat equipment items, documents, a notebook, or other accessories that should remain easily accessible.

In GEN5, the pocket has been enlarged and redesigned to increase its functionality.

Anti-slip Hepalon elements

In selected areas, Hepalon anti-slip elements have been used to help stabilize the vest and reduce unwanted movement of selected elements during intensive use.

Enlarged rear identification surface

The rear plate bag features an enlarged Velcro surface, allowing for the mounting of identification markings, unit patches, service markings, and panels indicating the user's function.

Reinforced evacuation handle

At the rear of the vest, there is a reinforced evacuation handle, allowing for emergency removal or evacuation of the user.

Materials and construction

The CPC ROC Gen5 is made of 500D Cordura and durable laminate based on 500D Cordura.

Both materials have IRR properties, helping to reduce the visibility of the equipment in infrared observation devices.

The use of laser-cut technology helps reduce the number of additional layers of material, decrease the weight of the construction, and better maintain the continuity of the camouflage pattern.

On the body side, elements finished with Coolmax material have been used to improve comfort during prolonged wear.

Modular configuration

The CPC ROC Gen5 can be configured as both a lightweight, minimalist plate carrier and a more extensive platform for carrying equipment.

The system allows for the use of, among others:

• MOLLE pouches and pockets,
• interchangeable front panels,
• ZIP-ON panels,
• dangler pockets,
• side pockets for plates,
• additional cable organization elements,
• compatible Templar’s Gear accessories.

This allows for customizing the vest to the type of armament, equipment, and nature of the task being performed.

Standard configuration

The standard set of the CPC ROC Gen5 includes:

• front plate bag,
• rear plate bag,
• Comfort Pads for the shoulders,
• adjustable cummerbund with ROC buckles.

The front panel and QUASM buckles are not part of the standard set.

QUASM buckles are provided together with compatible front panels from Templar’s Gear.
